Happy students with their results at Cleethorpes Academy.
Across all subjects, the Year 11 cohort obtained exceptional results that will enable them to move on to the next destination and continue their learning journey.
They included the highest ever Maths score achieved by a student at Cleethorpes Academy.
Principal Paul Thundercliffe was extremely proud.
“Year 11 have been superb all year in what has been my first here in charge,” he said.
“Everything we have asked of them they have delivered and these results echo that determination to succeed.”
Results across the school continue to be grow and there was real success across Triple Science, Art, PE and Child Development.
“The different areas that have shown strength in their results is great for us as a school but even better for the young people who have excelled in their chosen pathways that will give them a stronger foundation in their next step,” said Mr Thundercliffe.

“I was so nervous and expecting solid 6s, though was praying for one 9,” he said. “I thought I’d get a 4 in English Language so when I saw an 8 I could not believe it and then another in Maths.
“Then I got the 9 in Physics. I have made myself really proud.”
The moment was shared with mum Karen Croft, dad Danny Bradshaw and twin sister Ruby Bradshaw.
“He was desperate to get one 9 and he got it,” said Danny. “I am super proud as he has worked so hard for these results.”
